Who can join Fenix Arts' Artist Membership Program?
Our program is open to artists age 18+ of all backgrounds and disciplines, both emerging and established, who are passionate about contributing to Northwest Arkansas' vibrant art community.
Fenix Arts will provide equal opportunity for consideration to all persons who apply for artist membership regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, or veteran status. In addition, Fenix Arts will provide reasonable accommodations for artists with disabilities.
What are the benefits of joining the Artist Membership Program?
Members enjoy discounted commissions, access to marketing resources, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, workshops, fiscal sponsorship, funding research, skill development, an online sales gallery, and more.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, there is a modest annual fee of $100 ($50 for students) that helps support the program and its initiatives. We offer various payment options for your convenience.
How are sales handled through the gallery?
Fenix Arts takes care of the sales process, providing a platform for artists to showcase and sell their work. Delivery of art to and from the gallery is at the artist’s expense.

Fenix artists are expected to volunteer their time and skills 8-10 hours a month by staffing the gallery, posting updates on social media, serving at receptions, helping to hang exhibitions, or other needed tasks. Volunteers receive an 80/20 commission rate. Non-volunteers receive a 60/40 commission rate. Artists are paid for any sales made through the gallery at the end of each exhibition.
