  • Stretch your neck and get a sneak peek at how vernacular architecture meets analog photography by Arkansas Individual Artist Fellow, Chuck Davis. Ozark Giraffe homes are typically homeowner-built constructions where whimsy and sweat equity elevate hillbilly heritage. These stone-stacked structures made shelter cheap and cheerful, and historians have paid attention.

What: Chuck Davis is an internationally exhibiting artist and Ozarker invited by Mount Sequoyah’s Creative Spaces to display his work of analog photography, Ozark Giraffes at Mount Sequoyah, opening on November 7th and continuing through December 12th. Chuck is a represented artist with Fenix Arts, known for his Ozark themed subjects, and recently named an Arkansas Individual Artist Fellow, one of the highest recognitions awarded an artist by the state of Arkansas.
