Building your own website saves you from having to pay someone else to do it, while giving you flexibility and control over content and updates.
During class, we will go over practical considerations for building your own art website, such as precautions you can take to prevent people copying art off the website, how image size affects website speed, the typical costs of maintaining a website, what "Z" and "F" screen patterns are, etc.
